Visual Reports

These projects involved the design and layout of multiple visually engaging, data-driven reports for key public planning initiatives across various sectors. The reports included a statewide broadband study, a municipal comprehensive plan, and a public survey results report for a local school district. Each report was tailored to its unique audience and purpose while maintaining a cohesive standard of clarity, accessibility, and aesthetic professionalism.

Design Objectives:
Present complex information in a digestible, visually compelling format

Align each report’s tone and visual language with its intended audience—from state officials and policymakers to town residents and school district stakeholders

Balance aesthetics with function, ensuring that charts, maps, and graphics enhance understanding and engagement without overwhelming the content

Key Deliverables:

Statewide Broadband Study Report
Focused on mapping access gaps, infrastructure data, and funding recommendations

Included custom GIS maps, infographics, and iconography to represent broadband coverage, demographics, and regional data

Utilized a modern, clean layout with a professional, neutral color palette

Comprehensive Plan for Shepherdstown
Covered land use, housing, transportation, sustainability, and community development goals

Featured section dividers, visual summaries, and thematic illustrations to reinforce local identity

Incorporated community photos, pull quotes, and vision statements to support public engagement

Public Survey Results Report – Wetzel County Schools
Summarized survey participation and feedback from families, educators, and students

Used colorful charts, accessible typography, and callout boxes to highlight key takeaways

Designed for both digital distribution and printable formats to ensure broad accessibility

Outcome:
The visual reports successfully translated dense data and strategic frameworks into attractive, easy-to-navigate documents that enhanced transparency and encouraged stakeholder engagement. These designs helped build trust, inform decision-making, and support public communication across various levels of governance and community planning.
